Helen Peyton
Artist print-maker Helen Peyton is achieving increasing recognition through prestigious Arts Council-funded residencies and TV appearances. Her limited edition lino reduction prints and mono-prints are created on a Victorian press that is the complete opposite of high-tech. Some are selected annually for the UK’s top print exhibition held at the prestigious Royal Academy (London) and hang alongside works by Tracey Emin, Paula Rego and Jim Dine.
Helen’s fashionably retro subject-matter – 1950s radios, stoves, etc – have found a niche market among Europeans nostalgic for former times.
As Leeds Gallery‘s ambassador, she’d like to connect with Shanghai-based print-makers.
