Sue Vickerman as ‘Suki the artists’ model’ will be launching her poetry collections Thin Bones Like Wishbones and Kunst at a Creators and Thinkers of Shanghai event on Saturday 6th June at Fly Mandarin School, Shanghai. (Full details and directions here.) Sue will also be showing two film shorts, Suki’s life room and the launch of Still Life based on Part I of Suki’s autobiography A Small Life. This will be followed by a discussion on the Male Gaze controversy.
Directions: Fly Mandarin is on the fourth floor of building one, 358 Jiaozhou Road. Building one is on the left and the entrance round the back. The event will be clearly signposted. From Changping Lu it’s a 5-10 minute walk, and from Jing’an Temple it’s about 10-15 minutes. Google map here.
